Our Projects
At Mendlife Global Foundation, we are committed to addressing the unique needs of orphans and vulnerable children (OVC) across Nigeria. Our projects are designed to empower children through education, psychosocial support, and community engagement. By providing vital resources and services, we create pathways for these children to overcome their challenges and thrive.
The Back to School Project is one of our flagship initiatives, aimed at ensuring that orphans and vulnerable children (OVC) have access to quality education. This project supports children by providing scholarships and essential school supplies, including uniforms, sport wears, school sandals, water bottles, food flasks, notebooks, textbooks, stationery, and school bags.
Since its inception, this project has benefitted over 250 children across various states in Nigeria, including Abia, Akwa-Ibom, Delta, FCT-Abuja, and Lagos. Our goal is to remove the financial barriers that prevent children from accessing education and provide them with the tools to succeed.
The Free Shopping Spree is a joyful initiative that allows orphans and vulnerable children to experience the excitement of picking out their own clothes, shoes, and other personal items. For many of these children, basic necessities like clothing are a luxury, and this project gives them the dignity of choice and ownership.
More than just a shopping event, this initiative fosters self-esteem and confidence in the children. It allows them to feel valued and cared for, while also addressing their material needs in a fun and engaging way.
Many of the children we serve come from challenging environments, including dysfunctional homes or communities affected by abuse, depression, and malnutrition. The Games and Psychosocial Support (PSS) program focuses on addressing the emotional and psychological needs of these children. Through this initiative, we create safe spaces for children to express themselves, heal from trauma, and rebuild their confidence.
Our approach integrates interactive games, counseling sessions, and group activities that promote mental well-being, social skills, and resilience. By providing psychosocial support, we help children develop the emotional strength they need to navigate life’s difficulties and build a positive future.
Our Community Development Projects aim to uplift entire communities by focusing on long-term, sustainable change. These projects target the broader social issues affecting OVC, including poverty, lack of access to education, and inadequate health services. By working directly with community leaders, schools, and local NGOs, we implement initiatives that improve living conditions and create better opportunities for children and their families.
Through educational workshops, infrastructure support, and resource distribution, we aim to build stronger, more resilient communities where vulnerable children can thrive.
